How it works

Four steps from your footage to a final file.

  1. Send the footage

Share a link to your clips along with a short brief and any references you like.

  2. Rough cut

I assemble the story, set the pacing and share a first cut in Frame.io for you to review.

  3. Revisions

You leave timecoded comments in Frame.io, I fix them. Colour, sound and graphics get finished in this round.

  4. Delivery

Final files exported for where they are going, with the project kept if you want it.

Who you're working with

A specialist video editor, not a production agency.

I'm Benjamin Gammage, a video editor working with creators, small businesses and event teams across the UK. You work directly with me from first cut to final export: no account managers, no handovers and no surprises on the invoice.

Every project follows the same four steps. You send the footage and a brief, I assemble a rough cut, you leave timecoded notes in Frame.io, then I deliver finished files sized for wherever they are going. Because editing is all I do, I focus on the things that keep viewers watching: pacing, clean audio, readable captions and a clear story.

Whether it is a long-form YouTube edit, a set of vertical clips for Reels and TikTok, a brand promo or an event highlight, you get the same result: raw footage in, a finished video out.

Common questions

Questions people ask before they send footage.

How much does video editing cost?

Pricing depends on how long the final video is, how much footage there is and how complex the edit needs to be. Tell me what you need and your budget in the enquiry form and I will come back with a clear fixed quote, so you know the cost before any work starts.

How long does an edit take?

Once I have your footage and an agreed brief, I confirm a timeline with your quote. Short-form clips usually move fastest, while longer YouTube and event videos depend on running time and how many revisions you need. I will always tell you when to expect the first cut and the final files.

What do you need from me to get started?

A link to your raw footage (Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or similar), a short brief on what the video is for, and any references you like. That is enough for me to start and to quote.

What video formats and aspect ratios do you deliver?

I deliver in whatever format your platform needs: 16:9 for YouTube and long-form, 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, plus 1:1 and 4:5, in 1080p or 4K. Captions, chapters and burned-in subtitles can be included.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes. I share the rough cut in Frame.io, where you add timecoded comments straight onto the video. You leave your notes, I make the changes, and colour, sound and graphics are finished in that same round.

Can you work with clients remotely?

Yes. The whole process works remotely anywhere in the UK and beyond. You share footage through a link, we review edits side by side in Frame.io, and I send back the finished files. There is no need to meet in person.
